Release notes for dse2
General
It shipped on July 14th 2011. It is meant as a follow-up to dse1.
It is based on Debian Squeeze (still known as testing), and custom packages from the hackable:1 and DeforaOS projects. A more detailed description (with installation instructions) is available.
This release was coordinated by Pierre Pronchery.

Regressions
When compared to rev5:
- PIM management is only performed through the SIM card
Known issues
- it doesn't ring by default (but vibrates)
- the phone tends to automatically resume shortly after suspending
- hardware buttons are not supported
- swapping the screen orientation is not tested
