Registering message and not able to make call

Description

Hello,

I still have problem with "Registering" message after the phone started.

1) all packages were updated
2) /etc/rc.local.d/gconf2 is executable
3) "restart gsmd and then kill phone-kit" solution help me to resolve issue
4) I tried to remove and reinstall gconf2

p.s.
I use user distrib.

I don't have PIN turned ON on my SIM.

ok, but thats still related the the pin/registration problem. We are working on it.
